LGBTQIA+ is the acronym for...
Gay: A male attracted to males, or a general term for homosexuals.
Bisexual: A person attracted to both genders (It's a spectrum)
Trans: This is for transexual and transgender. There's a difference. Transgender means you identify as the opposite gender of your genitalia (cisgender means you identify as the gender you were born with). A transexual person is someone who has had surgery to change their physical genitalia (your sex). You can be transgender but not transexual. You can also be transexual and be intersex, agender, gender fluid, etc but not transgender. Then there are people who are both.
Questioning: A person unsure of their sexuality/gender identity
Intersex: Let this super-great video explain it:
It's kind of like asexuality, in that you don't have as much sexual attraction as most. Its "on the asexual spectrum". For a website to explain Demisexuality,
Pansexuality, or omnisexuality, is sexual attraction, romantic love, or emotional attraction toward people of any sex or gender identity. Bisexual means you're attracted to males and females. Pansexual means you are attracted to all genders, including males and females, but also other genders.
So as you can see, there are a lot of different things people identify as.
But it's important to understand that not everybody can fit into a few labels, so just know that it doesn't matter what someone identifies as, because everybody is a person and should be accepted.
Pronouns: If you aren't sure, just ask, quickly, politely don't make a big deal. Say "What are your pronouns?". Easy. If you mess up, correct yourself. Apologize. Quickly without making a huge fuss.
If you're a hater, don't be. I mean come on: What's wrong with love? What's wrong with being yourself? My personal belief: there would not be LGBTQIA+ people if there was something wrong with them.
You should definitely watch the short film below:
For the people having a hard time grasping the reason for the word "breeder," it's simple. To be a proper role-reversal, they had to come up with a word in that society that was universally recognized as an insult for "heterosexual." They had to come up with one, "breeder," and it sounds odd to you because in our current society there ISN'T a universally recognized disparaging term for hetero. Think about that fact for a moment, if you are straight. Think what that means. There's never been a word ever-present in your culture that names you in a way that is hateful.
That's what happens when we allow gay marriage, we'll have a bunch of pre pubescent homos that's are complete douchebags, without "breeders" society would exist men are supposed to be with women. You can't have a battery face the wrong way and expect the device to function.
*screaming hyena noise* because this makes me mad. okay I'm done.
